Alkit 1.0.0

The first release.

  • The launcher. Apps, files, math and commands for your Mac, all from one field, with your clipboard history, Quicklinks, Script Commands and the shortcuts you built in the same search.
  • Your windows. Hold ⌥ and tap Tab for a live preview of every window. Turn on Scrolling for a display and its windows line up side by side, on a strip that never runs out of room.
  • Your keys. Hold fn and I J K L become the arrows, U and O jump to the start and end of the line, Y and H are Home and End. Click any key on the keyboard map in Settings to choose what it sends.
  • The notch. Notifications drop out of it onto one card. Now Playing, volume and brightness, Keep Awake and a Shelf for your files live there too.
  • Battery and fans. A charge limit that holds while your Mac sleeps, heat protection, and fans that follow a curve you draw. Alkit only ever adds fan speed.
  • The menu bar. The charge, the hottest core, memory in use and fan speed, next to the Alkit icon.
